Monday: Chickpeas salad with a tangy sauce

Chickpeas are a fantastic plant based protein option because they are filling and help keep your hunger under control. To kick start your week on a healthy note, consider planning a wholesome and inexpensive salad using only 4 ingredients. Just combine California Garden chickpeas with feta cubes and smother the whole with a tangy lemon-vinegar sauce. If available, add vegetables such as cucumbers and parsley for a good dose of greens.

Tuesday: Mouthwatering chicken and rice

Chicken and rice are the easiest to prepare and when combined with sautéed vegetables they can make up a wholesome and healthy meal. Just boil 1 cup of rice, fry 1 seasoned chicken breast in a bit of olive oil and stir fry 1 cup of Chinese vegetables with a little bit of butter. You’ve got yourself a wholesome and balanced dish using 3 main ingredients!

Wednesday: Quick and easy shrimps and noodles

This is one of the easiest lunches to plan especially when you’re on a budget.
