2 cans of California Garden White Solid Tuna in Water & Salt, drained
2 tablespoons of California Garden Sweet Corn
1 cup of Tomato sauce
½ teaspoon of Oregano
1 Red onion, coarsely chopped
1 tablespoon of Cheddar cheese, grated
To prepare the dough:
400 grams of Whole wheat flour
½ teaspoon of Sugar
½ tablespoon of Instant yeast
¾ cup of Warm water
½ tablespoon of Olive oil + more to brush the dough
½ teaspoon of Salt
In a bowl, mix sugar, yeast and warm water. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add olive oil, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture. Mix ingredients until combined, then knead with your hands to end up with a smooth dough. Brush the latter with olive oil. Cover and set aside for 2-3 hours until the dough doubles in size.
Using a rolling pin spread the dough on a floured surface until you get a round shape.
Spread tomato sauce onto the pizza dough and sprinkle with oregano. Add tuna, corn and red onion. Top with grated cheddar cheese.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180⁰C for 20 minutes until cooked through. Serve immediately.
