Ingredients

  • California Garden Chickpeas, drained - 1 cup

  • Medium onion, chopped - 1

  • Cinnamon, ground - ¼ teaspoon

  • Paprika - ½ teaspoon

  • Salt - ½ teaspoon

  • Black pepper - ¼ teaspoon

  • Parsley, chopped - 1½ tablespoons

  • Rolled oats, ground - 2 tablespoons

  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon

Preparation

Step 1

In a food processor, combine California Garden Chickpeas, onion, cinnamon, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Process ingredients until combined.

Step 2

Add parsley and oats. Process mixture until you get a smooth texture.

Step 3

Brush a baking sheet with vegetable oil.

Step 4

Shape the chickpeas mixture into balls and place them on the baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes until nicely golden. Serve immediately.
